According to the public information, in 2020, the SAIC Group achieved 390,000 overseas sales, an increase of 11.3% year-on-year, of which MG brands have reached 230,000 overseas sales.
The SAIC Group said that the sales size of China’s automobile market is expected to be around 30 million, and the sales size of the global automobile market will reach around 100 million, which is a rare opportunity for China’s car brands.
Based on the above background, during the 14th Five-Year Plan, the SAIC Group is mainly developed from domestic business and turning to the deep farming and expanding overseas, and it is expected that overseas months will reach 1.5 million units, accounting for about 15% in the overall sales of the SAIC Group. The annual compound growth rate is expected to exceed 30%.
In 2025, sales of SAG Groups in the European market strive to exceed 300,000, with new energy vehicles accounted for 70-80%, realizing the full coverage of entry-level to medium and senior products. SAIC Group said that in response to overseas markets, the SAIC Group does not do short-term trading, but there must be system, and there is a planned “go out”.
